Kat did a brilliant job at giving the staff ideas and inspiration for how they could make their own spaces edible and beautiful. She created a visually engaging presentation and delivered it with warmth, eloquence and humour. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive. I look forward to working with Kat again in future events on urban agriculture and sustainability.

Kat’s hard work, bubbly personality, extensive knowledge and excellent communication skills are truly inspirational and a great choice when looking for a guest speaker. Our members were truly inspired by her presentation and have asked to have her back again.
Lorna Martin,
Treasurer Permaculture Geelong
When deciding on a guest speaker for our AGM, we couldn’t go past Kat. She presented an engaging talk on a topic that could easily have been overwhelming to many people: creating a sustainable garden following permaculture principles. After listening to Kat’s story about her own journey down this path, we now know that with knowledge, planning and not a lot of money, any ordinary suburban back yard can be turned into an edible forest (without looking like a salvage and recycled materials yard). And that’s a sustainable message.
